My name is Adrienne, I am a Carlson Gracie Team black belt. I've been training and competing now for 10 years, instructing about 5. My journey thus far has been incredibly rewarding. The greatest thing about this sport is there are no shortcuts. Jiu jitsu gives only what you put in. It will test you mentally and physically and mold you to be a better person.

One of many great pieces of advice my coach always tells me is, "Don't talk about it, BE about it!". Words I try and live by on and off the mats.  Someone who is new to jiu jitsu

 I would highly recommend the book "Can't Hurt Me" by David Goggins. His take on mindset and work ethic is something that will light a fire under you.
